Manager – Alumni & Donor Records

(Temporary/Contract from approximately May 3, 2010 to June 3, 2011)

DEPARTMENT: University Advancement

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Vice-President, University Advancement, the Manager – Alumni & Donor Records is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, directing and monitoring all University Advancement records. The Manager – Alumni & Donor Records is responsible for overseeing an area which serves as the foundation and point of control for all University Advancement activities through the Alumni and Donor Database (Raiser’s Edge), as well as being responsible for the receiving and receipting of gifts and pledge commitments. This position is also responsible for maintaining the University Advancement budget cost centres.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate should possess an undergraduate degree, preferably in Business Administration, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience; five (5) years in donor database management, staff supervision, preferably in university or non-profit institutional fund development setting, and finance/data analysis skills. Various word-processing and spreadsheet applications are essential.
